There are 6 public tennis courts in Hyde Park which are expertly run by Will to Win Ltd. The park tennis courts are situated towards the Southern of Hyde Park, adjacent to the picturesque Serpentine lake and are arguably some of the most pleasant public tennis courts in London.

Given their Central London location, the Hyde Park tennis courts are extremely popular throughout the year and advance booking is essential. The six courts have a hard, macadam surface and have been relatively recently resurfaced making them ideal whether you happen to be in Hyde Park or live/work nearby. Due to their central London location, tennis in Hyde Park is not cheap. As an adult non-member you can expect to pay at least £14/hour, even off-peak. However there are some good discounts for regular players. It's also worth noting that full changing facilities are provided including warm showers.

Parking near the Hyde Park Tennis Club

Good luck is all we can say as parking around Hyde Park is not only in high demand, it's lethally expensive. However there is a pay and display car park near the bridge over the Serpentine towards the centre of the park, although rates are very high. Otherwise parking spots are available in the vicinity of the Albert Hall (5 mins walk away) as well as towards South Kensington, however again you will probably need a mortgage to park there.

Alternatively, you could always try our friends at ParkatMyHouse.com to rent a parking space from a local Kensington resident...

Transport Links near the Hyde Park Tennis Courts

Given that you've probably got more chance of winning the lottery than finding a parking sport around the public Hyde Park tennis courts, we would highly recommend getting either a train or a bus to Hyde Park. South Kensington underground station is around 10-15 mins walk away to the south of the park and Hyde Park corner is a similar distance to the South East. Buses are abundant around the perimeter of the park, particularly towards Hyde Park corner.

Pubs near the Hyde Park Tennis Centre

The Lido Café in Hyde Park
Your best bet for grabbing a post match drinks is along the nearby Serpentine which has two excellent cafes/bars. First on our list is the Lido Cafe Bar, which is nearest to the Will to Win tennis centre in the swimming area of the Serpentine Lido.

Otherwise head to the Serpentine Bar and Kitchen which is on the opposite bank away from the Hyde Park tennis courts (towards the East). There probably is much between either of these two cafés/bars as they're stunning locations, particularly in the summer.
