All Star Tennis; Various Locations

All Star Tennis holds junior and adult coaching throughout the South West of London.  Their Social Tennis lessons comprise of matchplay and tactical drills for players of an intermediate to advanced standard.  Beginners and improvers should drop into the basic Social Lessons to play with others of a similar standard.  There are also coaching courses available for all players, from those who have never picked up a racquet before to regular acers.  The All Stars Junior Clubs follow the internationally recognised LTA Mini Tennis Scheme.  They provide enjoyable, fun and skill focused classes for both term and holiday time.

Prices:  £8.50-£13 for adult Social Tennis.  5 week adult courses cost £90, whilst 12 week kids and teen programmes range from £132 to £204.

Annabel Croft Tennis Academy; National Tennis Centre

Run by the former British No.1, this is a fantastic choice for anyone who is a bit more serious about the sport.  Adult classes span 4 week periods on Thursday evenings and are run by ACTA tennis professionals.  They are a designed to provide adults payers with the chance to experience Croft’s unique coaching philosophy.  For youths, Matchplay Classes suiting a variety of standards allows them to get competitive whilst improving their game.  The youth programmes are deeply structured to ensure a steady progress of technique and standard in each player.  If young players want to take their tennis up a notch, the A.C.E. Squad is a performance group for 6 to 12 year olds.   They have midweek coaching and also participate in Saturday Matchplay sessions.  Players gain access to the squad by arranging a trial with the head coach.

Prices:  A 4 week block of adult coaching costs £90.  13 weeks of junior sessions range from £135 to £286, depending on standard and class length.

Battersea Park Millennium Arena

The Arena hosts an array of tennis coaching for adults and juniors of every standard.  For adults, social tennis allows for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere whilst improving their game.  To focus more upon technique and skill, adults can attend a 6 week course matched to their standard.  Juniors can choose from drop-in coaching sessions, 4 day camps and the LTA Mini tennis courses.  Even toddlers can improve upon their basic co-ordination and balance whilst having fun on the court.

Prices:  Social tennis is £9-£11.50.  Junior drop-in costs £7 for a two hour session.  Tots activities from £30.
