Nottingham is most famous for Robin Hood, the evil Sheriff of Nottingham and the outrageously good looking Maid Marion (all based on true story). It was the home of lace-making in the UK and is the 7th largest economy within the UK, famous for its transport system. It is a renown sports centre and in October 2015 it received the honourable accolade as the 'Home of English Sport'.
